Milan

Well I thought I would just pop over to Milan for the weekend for a spot of shopping!!!!! Yes well window shopping any so I thought. It was quite reasonable shopping there. Picked up a few nice things and the best thing is their pants are really long - way too long for me even. Well the fashion philosophy in Italy is make it really long and people can customise the length to what suits - That's the way it should be.

So I checked out a few of the sites the Duomo, castles etc.

Met up with a friend of a girl I work with and she tells me that tonight is the one night in the year that they have this massive festival. Lots of exhibitions, stalls and all the museums are open until 2am!!!! Of all the weekends I pick I pick the best one. But first she tells me a few Milanian things like if you spin on your heal on the Bulls Balls it is good luck - You should see how warn the balls are. Apparently the tiles are replaed very often and you can tell!!!

So after a day shopping and sight seeing I spend the night partying - not really drinking though. It was great to hang out with locals too - although they only really spoke in Italian unless specifically speaking to me. It was great fun though.
